PREPARATION

1 - Do not remove water from the top of the bucket if content has settled during transit, simply remix. 2 - Ensure content is thoroughly mixed before using. A low-speed electric mixer may be used if necessary. No sediment should remain at the bottom of the bucket. 3 - Consistency for dipping will vary due to the density of ware. Absorption varies slightly with the type of bisqueware and the temperature of bisque firing. 4 - If thinning is required, simply add water and remix. 5 - Always keep your working place clean.

DIPPING TIPS

1 - Use sharp-pointed tongs. 2 - Dip into and out of the clear glaze in one steady and even movement. 3 - Slightly shake the piece to remove glaze excess. Smooth any drips that occur just using finger while the glaze is still wet. 4 - Tong-marks over the piece can be touched up with a spot of glaze.

FIRING TEMPERATURE

Fire pottery to cone 05 or 06 with a 15-minute hold. Kilns vary, test yours and select the schedule or cone firing you like best. This product is suitable for firing in electric kilns. The firing temperature range from 960° C (1.760° F) to 1.060°C (1.940° F), recommended temperature 1.000°-1.015° C (1.850 F) or Orton 06. HST 0004 - D is suitable for the most common ceramic bodies having a coefficient of thermal expansion of 59-60 x 10-7 and it is a "China painting", gold and lusters .
